Storyline:
‘Driver on Duty’ narrates the interesting story of the incidents that occur when a male police officer joins as the driver of an all woman police station. Abhirami plays the female lead role as S I Arundhati Varma of Elathoor police station, which has only women police officers. Due to certain bitter past experiences, she is a misandrist (One who hates men). Janani Iyer is also seen in an important role. Asif Ali does the role of Ramakrishnan, the driver cum police constable. Though he is an engineering graduate, his mother forced him to accept the first Government job that he gets. Arundhati kicks out all male officers who join the station as the driver. At this juncture, Ramakrishnan joins there and as usual Arundhati tries all the tricks to throw him out. But Ramakrishnan is a different kind of person and the resulting events are plotted in ‘Driver on Duty’..
